Valerie Garcia Hong

Valerie is the Founder of Garcia Hong Law APC. She counsels businesses and individuals in business litigation, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duties, trade secrets and unfair competition, professional liability, and personal injury claims. Valerie is also an Adjunct Professor at California Western School of Law and teaches litigation skills in the STEPPS Program.

Valerie has held leadership roles in the Louis M. Welsh Inn of Court (Master), Women of Color in the Law (Director), Filipino American Lawyers of San Diego (Past President), Filipino American Chamber of Commerce – San Diego (Director), and Reading Legacies (Advisory Council).

Outside the practice of law, Valerie enjoys golfing and has served as President of Ladies on Course, a San Diego women’s golf organization focused on community service.

Valerie obtained her Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law (2005) and her Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois (2001). During law school, Valerie was a judicial extern for Honorable Joan Lefkow in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
