Benjie is a Serial Entrepreneur with a Passion in Philanthropic activities.
He is the founding President, Chairman and CEO of Canaan Foundation International, A California based 501C3 Organization that focuses on Disaster Relief and Educational Scholarship programs.
Benjie hails from Bangued, Abra Philippines and has a degree in Physical therapy and has served several Skilled Nursing Facilities as Director of Rehab, He holds licenses as a Realtor, Mortgage Loan Officer and Life Insurance Professional.
One of the programs of Canaan Foundation International is The Ophir Heritage Awards which seeks to recognize exemplary deeds of Valor, Heroism, Success stories and achievements of Filipino Americans around the world. It aims to inspire the younger generations, and reconnect Filipino Americans abroad to their roots and culture while promoting Philippine tourism and economy.
Benjie dreams to Make a difference in the world by promoting The Filipino ingenuity, talents, culture, and entrepreneurship and impact the Fil-Am community in a positive way while celebrating the Filipino traits and cultures while strengthening families and the youth thru various non-profit and missionary endeavors.
When not actively selling Solar renewable energy, homes, doing loans, or Financial Services. Benjie can be found doing meaningful outreach activities thru his talent in singing and entertaining retirees in Nursing homes with His guitar often impersonating Elvis Presley.
He is also a Servant leader in the Missionary Families of Christ ministry as a Household Servant in helping married couples build a successful marriage with a winning mindset. Benjie has a Love in Singing and enjoys performing at Church events/fund raising and brings the positive effect of his passion to other’s lives. While real estate is in his blood, his greatest joy comes from His family as a husband to Racquel and a father to His three beautiful Princesses: Emma MaiMai and Bambam.

Angel Ogapong is a San Diego State University graduate. In her beginnings she had great examples and exposure from her parents on how to launch and develop businesses in the Philippines. As she migrated to the USA, she has chosen the path of being a young entrepreneur. She launched multiple small businesses. Angel is currently the owner and founder of A&R Insurance Services, with and expertise in Health Insurance and Wealth Financial management. Angel was also recognized in the100 Top 6 Figures San Diego Young Entrepreneur Income Earners under 30’s in the year 2020.
Her passion in serving the Senior community led her to the field of Medicare Insurance. Along with her passion and dedication she has created JAR Senior Club; A community club that has a Mission to provide service to Seniors in every possible means and to be the trusted reliable resource for them.

In 1979, 1st VDG Julio was hired as a Special Agent with the US Naval Investigative Service and became the 2nd Filipino American to be hired by NIS (now called NCIS). He was assigned to serveral offices including, an assignment at the US Embassy in Manila, Philippines were he conducted counterintelligence and counter terrorism operations.
He moved 9 times in 25 years. 1st VDG Julio retired from the government in 2006 and the next day, San Diego City Attorney, Mike Aguirre offered Julio a job as the City’s Attorney special investigator. Julio worked at the City Attorney’s for 12 years and retired in 2018. That same year Julio was elected to the La Jolla Town Council and chaired the Education Committee.
1st VDG Julio served his community in many ways (president of the Malasiquians for 2 years, president of the Pangasinan Association of SD County for 9 years, president of the All Hallows Catholic Academy Dads Club for 5 years and was Charter member of the San Diego Presidents Lions for 3 years.
